A BRAINY TUNES BIRTHDAY Ever had a moose in your living room? You can invite Molly the Moose, the Teasing Bird, Pepe Pinto and all the other Brainy Tunes kids’ song characters into your Bay Area home--and make your child’s birthday party something special. Ira Marlowe plays his colorful collection of childrens’ songs (plus any childrens’ “classics” you may request) accompanied by his acoustic guitar and (sometimes) his magic boombox. He’ll lead kids in movement, song, and dance, then gets them giggling with Marvin Mouse and other interactive puppets. Party performances also include a wholesale price ($8) on as many CDs as you wish to purchase as party favors. (Minumum 5 required for discount.) A typical performance consists of two twenty-five minute sets (ideal for young attention spans) with puppet activities sometime in between. The cost is $150 and includes the use of a small sound system, if required. For an even livelier dance experience, you can add a drummer/percussionist/back-up singer for $75 more.
